Dynamics GP: Allow users in other companies when you need 'Reverse Historical Year' or un-do a closed GL year in one company
In the GL year-end closing window (Tools | Routines | Financial | Year-end closing), when you use the button for REVERSE HISTORICAL YEAR, to reopen a closed GL year, it requires that ALL USERS are out of ALL COMPANIES in order to reopen a GL year in ONE company. Can you change it so that users can stay logged into OTHER companies? It doesn't make any sense that users need to be out of ALL companies, when the GL tables are company specific.

Dynamics GP: Choice to unapply only those documents or all downline when using the RM Transaction Unapply tool in PSTL
Once you move a fully applied document to history in Receivables/Sales, the only way to get it unapplied and moved back to the RM Trx open table (RM20101) is to use the 'RM Transaction Unapply' tool in PSTL to move the documents back to open for you. However, in older version of GP, the user was then prompted to only unapply ONE LEVEL or MULTIPLE LEVELS. Where did that option go? Now it just unapplies ALL LEVELS and all partially applied documents and everything all those are applied to and it just spider webs out. You could get PAGES and PAGES of documents unapplied that don't really have anything to do with the documents you unapplied (as they were distant relatives by marriage). Can you add back that old functionality that used to be there, to give the user a choice to unapply only the apply records on the document you marked (ONE LEVEL) or ALL LEVELS. As now, it just does ALL LEVELS, when users used the 'ONE LEVEL' option the most in the past anyhow, but that option is now gone. Please add back the ability to only unapply the THE DOCUMENT DIRECTLY APPLIED TO THE DOCUMENT Marked, and not have it spider web out for all paritally applied documents.

Ability to have 'State tax withholding' in Payables Managment
GP already has the ability to collect 'Federal Tax withholding' from a payables invoice. The WHT Vendor can be set up under Tools | setup | Company | Company | Options, and then the vendor card will have WITHHOLDING button where you can activate the withholding and set the default rate on each vendor as needed. The tax is withheld during the 'build checks process', and creates an open invoice to the Withholding vendor set up on at the company level. This works great to populate the 1099-NEC form with the full amount in box 1 and the federal tax withheld in Box 4.
- Can the same functionality be available only for a 'STATE withholding tax' where:
a. The WHT vendor would be stored on the VENDOR level, (and not the one at the company level for federal)
b. and the tax withheld would populate Box 5 on the 1099 NEC form for 'state tax withheld'? (Maybe the WITHHOLDING button on each vendor could have a checkbox for 'federal or state tax' box to populate on the 1099 forms respectively.)
Many more support cases have been coming in asking for state withholding functionality.

Dynamics GP: Add date format with dashes (MM-DD-YYYY) to Safepay
Many banks require a date format with dashes such as MM-DD-YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY and there are no date formats like this available in Safepay. This is not a date format you can achieve in a CSV file and many banks require a comma delimited file to be submitted for Safe Pay/positive pay.
Users have been asking for this format for years, and it would satisfy a bank requirement needed by users so they can utilize the Safepay features and help prevent FRAUD for their business.

Dynamics GP: Show the 'PAID DATE' in the Edit 1099 Transaction information window
In the 'Edit 1099 Transaction information' window (found under Transactions | Purchasing | Edit 1099 Transaction information), all the 1099 debit transactions (aka. 'invoices') are listed showing the 1099 tax type, box number and 1099 amount. However, since 1099's are reported by the PAID DATE, you cannot see the PAID DATE in this window, so it is really a guessing game for the user which invoices are included in the calendar year. (Was a 'December' invoice paid in December or January???.....) Showing only the Invoice doc date is really not helpful at all. To make this window much more efficient for the users, please consider:
- Adding the PAID DATE to this window. (The DINVPDOF 'date invoice paid off' field is already in the PM30200/PM20000 tables, so this field would just need to be dragged out to this window. simple!) Just having this would help SO MUCH!
2. And then add another date restriction to the top to be able to restrict the list for a specific calendar/tax year. Typically you only need to see the invoices for the given tax year, and not all their invoices back to the beginning of time. This would be a 'nice to have' feature. (However to do this, you may need to link to the PM30300 apply table, as some invoices may be partially applied to other documents, so you would need to consider all apply records. Note that the DINVPDOF field is only updated with the 'last' paid date for documents partially applied, and overwritten each time so one invoice from December could have been partially applied in Dec and paid off in Jan, so it would appear on both year's 1099's..)
