If operator A has a card 100010 assigned to them, the POS will only read 10001, and the subsequent 9 cards (100011, 100012, 100013 etc.) the POS would only 'see' 10001 and will not allow these other cards to be assigned, as it sees this number already assigned to Operator A. This is a major limitation as the MSR cards we use are 6 digits. The ask here is there should be flexibility with the digits used as unique identifier. -
Sustainability Objectives: If receipt is emailed to customer, do not auto print the physical receipt
Ability to skip printing receipt in POS if it's emailed to the customer. With receipt options as Both, even when the receipt is emailed to the customer, it prints the physical receipt (which is paper wastage as the customer does not want it). if we enable "prompt user" in the receipt format, it increases the number of clicks for all the transactions, which is not desirable given the volume of transactions. It would be good to have a feature to auto skip the printing (or a prompt to print or skip) only when the receipt is emailed to the customer. -
Saaved View for Customer search screen
Can we have Saved Views feature for the customer search screen, please? To access the screen, navigate to Retail and Commerce > Customers > Customer service Type something in Keyword abc and click Search The required search screen will pop-up which does not have saved view option. -
Ability to cancel multiple picking routes in one go
In Sales and marketing > Sales orders > Order shipping > Picking list registration, we can select multiple picking routes and click Update All. Can we have the ability to cancel picking routes when multiple Picking route records are selected? -
Hide particular stock adjustment journal when using Stock adjustment functionality in POS
Currently, all stock adjustment journals are available in the stock adjustment function in POS.
I've come across lots of scenarios where some journals are created only for using them in HQ and hence, business doesn't want such journals to be visible in POS or restrict user from selecting a particular journal in POS.

Take payment in POS for orders created in Call centre
We create sales orders using Call centre module in D365.
It would be good to have a feature to create order/add lines to an order in D365 - Recall the order in POS to take payment - (Once payment in taken in POS) Sales order is COMPLETED/SUBMITTED in D365.
(for the sales order created in D365 for store warehouse where it's been recalled)

Statement Posting || Aggregate Transactions || Delete customer order
Currently, we cannot delete multiple Customer orders using Delete customer order function in a statement.
The batch process that deletes the orders fails for the second order when run in parallel.
It's very inconvenient to wait for the system to delete one order and then delete the second, especially when we have multiple failed orders in a statement.
Given the order numbers are different, can we allow Deleting Customer orders in parallel for multiple orders?
Note - We need to delete customer orders from the aggregate transaction, cos of a particular statement some orders are invoiced when some failed. Hence, there is no way to Clear the statement in this case.
Or either include all these validations in the Transaction validation.
A recent example is where the financial dimensions were not setup correctly for a few new products.
When the transactions of these new products are pulled into D365, they succeeded validation, but the statement failed to post due to financial dimension mismatch.

Max limit on the Mix and match discounts
For Mix and match discount, there's not way to setup a max limit on the lines when configuring a Line specific (mix and match discount).
It would be great to have the limit field which is on the simple discount to be available on Mix and match discount.
The business requirement for this was when the business asked me to setup a Buy 1 of X and get 1 (upto 3) of Y for 20% off.
Buy 2 of X and get 4 (upto 6) of Y for 20% off.
Mix and match allow you to setup Buy 1 of X and get 1 of Y for 20% but in my case, it can be Buy 1 of X and 2 of Y and get 20% off and also buy 1 of X and 3 of Y to get 20%.
Current, mix and match setup only allow us to setup Buy 1 of X and 1 of Y for 20% off. or or Buy 1 of X and 2 of Y for 20%.

View call centre sales orders from the payments
Payment methods are configured per call centre channel to allow processing sales order and take customer payments.
Navigate to
- All call centre (Retail and Commerce > Channels > Call centres > All call centres)
- In action pane, Under setup tab and setup group, click Payment methods
- In the payment methods screen, select a payment method and click Payment transactions.
Notice, that the payment transaction only shows all the payment transactions from store, but it doesnt show sales orders created via call centre thought they are also called Retail sales (Retail sales checkbox is marked yes for such orders).
It would be great if we can see sales orders per payment method used in call centre (like we can see store payment transactions) or have a way to filter out orders paid via certain payment method.
