  • Project WBS Cost Estimate and Project WBS Scheduling form – Managing many different cost category estimation on the same activity

    This idea includes the ability to manage many hours cost category estimation on the same WBS activity when we change activity duration

     

    The business logic behind this idea to manage cost estimates with different categories of hours (different rates for different skills involved in the same activities) that must not be lost if I have to change the duration of an activity (schedule time).

    In general the impact is relevant for the use of the WBS as a tool to define and manage the cost estimate of the project activities.

    It is now not possible to use the WBS to estimate and manage project activities but also project offers, the economic consequence is significant.

    When the business model is based on project management, all project managers are affected by this issue.

     

    Actual results: System automatically loses important details

    Expected results: When we have more than one transaction type "Hour" with different project categories and we make some change in the "scheduling" view, the system should not merge them into the "cost estimates view".

  • Filtering by Invoice status on Project posted transactions form to show any data for on-account transactions

    On-accounts as fully invoiced to be shown when filtering on Fully invoiced in the invoice status in Posted Project transactions 

  • Select on account for credit note with invoice status "Fully invoiced"

    When we have a fixed price project and make an on account transaction, invoice status is "Chargeable". When user makes an invoice proposal and post it, Invoice status is "Fully invoiced".


    If user credit the line:

    Select for credit note, make a new invoice proposal and post it > Invoice status is "Chargeable"


    With invoice status "Chargeable" user is not available to finish the project.


    It would be good if there is an option select on account for credit note to result in "Fully invoiced" status.

  • Each user must be able to choose to activate or not a new feature, before it is automatically added in the system.

    Customer would like to propose a change in feature "Enable project contract currency for estimation form", that it is changed to a parameter setting instead, so it will be optional for everyone to enable this or not, since many features becomes “On by default” at some point and then forced enabled.

     

    From Customer's point of view, this feature is not something that brings any benefit to see the amount in the contract currency until the currency is displayed as well, and even then customer thinks this should be optional for every user to enable or not for each subsidiary.

     

    Otherwise, business might run into issues once enabled by default and might be difficult to understand what the issue is related to.
