  • Maintain Bookings Schedule Board view on Projects should show only that Project

    Hi, Maintain Bookings was a major functionality for customers in v1.2.x versions where they simply used to double click on the box to edit the Hours. Now, the new Schedule Board Maintain Bookings view is great apart from 1 major shortcoming. Since a resource could be booked on several Projects at the same time, opening the Scheduled Board Maintain View from project shows all these small bars of other projects and in that case, the user has to hover over through each Project to find which one if the current one to modify. This simple change would save lot of time for Resource Managers / Project Managers to adjust Bookings from the Maintain Booking Schedule Board view.
  • Defaulting the Date on Time Entry Quick Create

    In PSA v3.x, while making Time Entries from the CC_TimeEntryGrid, a quick create form opens. But it defaults to the current day even after selecting a block of a different date. Example: If today if Friday, I select the box on a previous day of the week and click New, but the Date is defaulted to the current date i.e. Friday and psychology, I might forget that I might need to select the Date again. Most of the time it happens that after I make the time entry, I find out that I made it for the current date instead of the intended previous date. I think this will

    Hi, Like we can Save & New for fields in D365 Customization, it would be of great help to have a button to "Save & New" button for records as well. This will save time from Save and Close to clicking on Create New button again on entities. Thanks!
  • Enter into default app if no extra app permissions available

    Hi, I recently encountered that once a user has access to any 1 app, they are still required to select it on the app selection screen instead of Dynamics just taking them inside the app if there are no more apps to access (having permissions on). I believe it is best to load the app entirely for a user who has access to just 1 Unified Interface App instead of making them select the obvious one.   • Project Service Health Hub solution publicly available

    Hi, Recently, we had to upgrade a customer's PSA solution from v2 to v3. And during this upgrade, the solution fails since the data in the org could be invalid from PSA's standpoint. Post running Project Service Rule Set in Analysis Job, results are generated and then we manually correct this data. For doing this, Microsoft Support's involvement is necessary. This is something that could be done by System Administrators also. I'm proposing that this solution and guidelines should be publicly available so that we don't have to approach Microsoft Support and create a lot of overhead for this process. This will save a lot of upgrade overhead time and Admins can take care of this well before hand before realizing the reason for failure and then trying to hurriedly upgrade at the last moment.
  • Should exist a Microsoft Service to automatically populate currency conversation automatically, optional feature

    Exchange Rate should exist as a service for the org to select if they want to opt-in for an optional automatic update on the Exchange Rate numbers in their Org's Business Unit settings.
  • Recent Items menu should show entity icon

    The dropdown in the SiteMap for Recent Items only shows the names of the records. It'll be extremely useful to identify what Entity type the record is. So that if we have the same Opportunity, Quote, Project etc names, we can distinguish as to what recent item we want to click into. Hope this helps!!
  • Capability to add Resources to Shifts and Relative Work Days

    Idea is to be able to set Work Hours and Working Days based on multiple shifts and Relative Working Days 1. Let's say Resource A is working from Shift A for a few weeks and is then supposed to be put on shift. I believe these can be different Work Hours Templates. However, should be able to be put on different templates depending on the day/week. 2. At times, some organizations have cyclic working days i.e. a week can start on a certain day and end X days later, say 6 days later. Then have 2 days off. And the next week not necessarily start on the exact same day as last week, but 1 day later since the last week 6 days were working and 2 days of holidays. To accommodate this, I suggest if we have the facility to provide no. of working days followed by no. of non-working days, the Schedule Board can then accommodate the 6-2 rule and dynamically show work hours accordingly.   • Show missing components in each environment

    Hi All,


    There should be a functionality or a report which identifies and ties together group of environments (typically Dev, UAT and Production) in most scenarios and have a report where it shows the following -

    1. Which components are present in an environment and not in other environment(s).


    For someone who's not using Power Platform and still deploying solutions manually, they usually see the issues while importing into the other environment. Today, it's at a solution level pertaining to components in the solution itself and not organization wide.
