Power Automate Pricing
I was instructed by Microsoft support to place my suggestion here
We've recently implement a Power Automate Flow into our business. Whilst we have been impressed with the product, the billing is extremely unimpressive. There appears to be no way to find out what each flow run costs, or what parts of the flow are charged at. There is just a sum total of the flow charges to date, no detailed billing. This makes it almost impossible to refine the flow to make it more efficient from a cost perspective.
We also had to guess which subscription we needed through trial and error. The fixed subscription cost is extremely vague in what credit's it includes, the ability to increase your credits on top of the fixed subscription is equally vague. I was instructed the pay as you go option needed to be implemented through an entirely different location than every other subscription.
My suggestion is Microsoft needs to drasctically address the complexity and vagueness of Power Automate pricing. It should be simple, transparent and the payment options available in the same area. Obtaining a subscription for power automate is so overly complex with multiple purchase options in different parts and no clear explanation on what it costs you to run a flow that the average user is left to just trial an error to work it out. It was easier to setup the flow in power automate than it was to work out which subscription we needed and to purchase. Microsoft must do a better job of simplifying the subscriptions around power automate, centralising them with all subscriptions and making it clear what the user is being charged for.
