  • Support Search by Filename.Extension in CMS Query API for File Binaries

    Today, the Commerce CMS supports searching for an image via its filename. So a user can call the query endpoint with a filename and extension and receive the asset in response, if it exists. This works in conjunction with the image re-sizer service.


    There has been a request to enable a similar search pattern for file binaries that are not served through the image re-sizer. This feature, if implemented, would allow you to call the CMS query endpoint with a filename.extension to retrieve the file binary as a response.

  • Enable Marketing Opt In via POS

    When creating a new customer in POS, or when checking out an existing customer, enable the sales associate to opt the customer into future marketing campaigns, if they consent to do so. This would update the customer record to denote that the customer has opted in. The POS should also be able to opt a customer out of future marketing campaigns if a sales associate is asked to do so.
