  • CRM does not have flexibility to create leads automatically from landing pages

    Information coming from Internet marketing landing pages to CRM is not directly created as leads but as intermediate records. CRM does not allow converting these records as leads automatically. One has to manually convert intermediate records as leads through UI. It is difficult for users to adopt this feature because they have to monitor CRM constantly to convert records. It is extremely difficult in scenarios when there is a big flow of incoming leads coming to CRM or even if time is crucial to respond to customers since there is always delays to convert records manually. If these intermediate records are stored in CRM as part of entity model, customers can leverage CRM workflows and SDK to convert records according to their best suited criteria.    Competitors like Salesforce offer strong internet marketing feature with good flexibility.

  • OData endpoint limitation with Actitivty Party

    In one of our requirement, we had to create an �Appointment� record programmatically using Jscript & OData by populating field �required attendees� (i.e., ActivityParty) to it. We followed below steps to complete the requirement � Created the �Appointment� record first � Created 2 activity parties where activity as �Appointment� and Party as �Contact� Issue we faced :- � Only one 1 Activity Party record is getting created � �When we debug the script and �Activity Party� table in SQL DB, we observed that 1st activity party record is getting created but once after the 2nd activity party created, the first one is getting deleted Work Around :- � The cause for the problem is the limitation of OData end point in CRM 2011 � As a workaround, we registered a Plugin on post create of �Appointment� and added �Activity Parties� using plug-in organization context �- Please refer the attachment for more details

  • Ability to control Activity types in Ribbon and Menus

    In many of the CRM implementations, Customer uses only some of the OOB activity types. Customer often raises the request to remove the unused activity types from the ribbon and menus. CRM should provide the flexibility to configure the activities that need to be shown in the Ribbon/menus or provide separate access privilege for each activities so that each activity type can be managed individually.� Now there is no supported way to show/hide the activity type based on role or usage of activity types in the Organization.

    In Ore Case We are Joining two Table on Multiple Columns. In Query Entity LinkEntity Allow Us to joining Based on Single Attribute only

    inner join FilteredFWI_offerprice FOP on FO.fwi_offersid =FOP.fwi_offerid and FLO.FWI_OfferPriceUniqueName = FOP.fwi_UniqueName

    Here The Inner Join is Based on Two Columns.
    But Fetch Does Not Support That

  • CRM supports �Outlook Appointments� but not �Outlook Meeting Requests� (ID 4242)

    n CRM whenever we create an appointment, we have the provision to the update the Required Attendees, Optional Attendees etc., When we synchronize the same with Outlook, this CRM Appointment gets copied to Outlook as an �Appointment�. As of now, the actual participants for the meeting have not been notified that a meeting has been scheduled. In this �Outlook Appointment�, you have to invite attendees to convert it to meeting request and then send it out. This is currently an overhead considering that the customer had marked the attendees in the CRM already. User has to manually do this activity.

    There is a ISV implementation to handle this. But OOB this is not supported yet.

    I create a meeting request identifying the participants and set the schedule. This information gets saved in the CRM. I have email router also configured to send out emails. But the appointment is not sent out as�a meeting request to the participants. Outlook provides an option to sync it, but it is still an "appointment" in outlook and not a "meeting request". I have to invite attendees to send this request out to participants. Would be great to have this information flown to outlook and send out a meeting request. Having the response statuses tracked in CRM would be a wonderful add on.

  • In contact form "open activity associated view" does not show activities which are in scheduled state (ID 4314)

    Appointment created will be in scheduled state. It is not visible in the Open activity associated view by default. Open activity associated view should be showing the appointments which are in scheduled state, because they are still active.

  • Territory Management Capabilities (ID #4025)

    Currently the product lacks the features to address Territory Management from business scenarios especially Sales Automation. Following are the major points:

    1.�There is no way to define multiple territories, merge/unmerge.
    2.�Define territory managers & teams
    3.�Share territories between different groups
    4.�Opportunity mapping to territories
    5.�Goals Definition for territories and ability to share the targets between multiple users
    6.�Reporting based on territories

  • CRM 2011 Online - Marketing List limitation (WS 3927)

    We are working with US customer in CRM 2011 online. The requirement is to have huge marketing list members (in millions). We are restricted with two of the following
    1. Converting from Dynamic to Static Marketing list fails because of the volume
    2. Static marketing list is not accepting members more than 50K
    Due to this limitation we are unable to perform the above operation in online
