• Mandatory Tax Group field is not validated while creating a vendor through vendor collaboration request.

    However, marking Mandatory tax group as mandatory in Accounts payable parameters, it is not validated in the vendor request workflow before converting the prospective vendor after registration with vendor collaboration. Reference issue#789319.


    Please take this issue in consideration for a new relase fix as it is important to our customer.

  • Financial dimensions validation while posting a voucher error message to be changed to include either line or item number to help user(s) recoginizing the missing values.

    If we do not allow posting blank values for financial dimensions in main account structure, in Trade process like (Sales order, Purchase order, inventory journals, ... etc.) error message is generic and not specifying the line number if the mandatory financial dimensions are left blank while posting. Kindly consider changing the error message to include either line or item number throwing the error to be easy for user to identify which line is missing the values.


    Example:

    Error message: "You must select a value in the BusinessUnit field in combination with the following dimensions values that are valid:

    MainAccount XXX.

    The combination was not validated beyond the BusinessUnit financial dimension.

    Dimension values were validated with this account structure: Account-XXX

    Ledger account validated using Account--FinDimensions, Record Id: XXX

    Reported from company accounts XXX

    Posting has been canceled."


    If we have any operation that includes +1000 lines, it is very hard to recognize which record is missing the values.


    Please put this in consideration in future releases to facilitate the process for user to recognize the missing line values.

  • In All purchase order page, added column Sales order; hyperlink should go to the correct Intercompany Sales Order number.

    In All purchase orders page, after adding Sales Order column, the Sales Order number is shown correctly, however, for intercompany orders, once you click on the hyperlink of an IC SO, you always get redirected to a wrong sales order number in the same company.


    Please consider adding this functionality in the future releases. Thanks!

  • Transaction log table Clean-up routine from the UI.

    In Sales and marketing > Setup > Sales and marketing parameters > Transaction log tab, user(s) are able to control if they are tracking transactional updates or not.


    However, after disabling the parameters stop the tracking procedure, In Sales and marketing > Inquiries and reports > History > Transaction log [smmTransLog table], you still can find all logs history kept, and increasing SQL storage size, and might lead to performance issue in some cases.


    The suggestion is to add a clean-up routine from UI to enable the user(s) to clean-up the table directly without using SQL scripts.


    Kindly consider adding this functionality in the next releases.

  • After adding SO lines to a call center SO using Excel Add-in, the field Quantity Reserved should be updated after publishing the modification from Excel.

    Issue:

    Call Center sales order is created with Automatic reservation, when the sales order line is updated in Excel, the field “Quantity Reserved” added to the Sales order line is not updated with the quantity value. The reservation however has been made.

  • 'Pending vendor invoices assigned to me' to be approved in a bulk or allow multiple approval.

    Issue:

    It is not available to approve multiple purchase order invoices at once.


    Idea:

    It would be great if we have a functionality to approve ‘Pending vendor invoices assigned to me’ after reviewing at once. For example, you have 10 invoices to be reviewed and approved, you would like to review all and approve once to approve the 10 invoices in a bulk. i.e., like the Invoice journal concept.


    Please consider the functionality as it is important for customers. Thanks in advance!

  • Sub-workflow and the parent workflow both not to work against the same document type

    In general, when customer(s) use(s) a sub-workflow and a parent workflow of the same type, both work against the same document type.


    For example, a purchase requisition submitted against a workflow with a sub-workflow of the same type against Purchase Requisition header, if you request change/reject the workflow it will run the workflow twice changing the document from 'In Review' to 'Draft' status. User will be allowed to submit again, and this will trigger 2 instances of the workitem assigned to the user who is responsible for approval.


    Kindly consider adding this scenario to the current design to support the workflow with sub-workflow to have a validation on the same document header if they were submitted against; as it is important to our customer.

  • Inventory journals templates uploaded through document templates are not saving updated changes in template.

    User(s) can import inventory journals using Open in Excel-Addin. The user(s) has modified the template and saved it on the Document templates. But when they click on Open in Excel on the journal, it doesn't show the saved template as the root entity of the template matches the root table of the form. ref_LCS#435944.


    Idea:

    Please consider adding this functionality to next releases to allow customer to add new modified templates as it is important for our customer to be included in the business.

  • Return Reason Code field to be added to non-retail Sales Orders [SalesTable]

    In retail sales orders it is possible to add Return Reason Code field and it is not being used in non-retail sales orders, however, it is only for retail sales orders as this field is RetailSalesLine field.


    Idea:

    Please consider adding the same functionality of retail sales orders to the non-retail sales orders in credit note scenario to be able to add return reason codes for these orders in future releases.

  • [India] Validation on Gate entry for purchase orders.

    Issue

    In Indian localization, we can use the functionality of gate entry, and when using Copy from purchase order lines function, the system allows vehicle entry/exit even if the purchase order is in Draft status, and it has no restriction or validation.


    Idea

    Please consider adding validation on copy from PO lines to be validating the status of the PO as well as it very important to our customer business.
