Shared Workspaces in Power BI embedded in Business Central to be supported
The Power BI embed the experience in Business Central was built before Power BI introduced the concept of Shared Workspaces. Does Microsoft plan to implement the Shared Workspaces work properly in Business Central? -
After 20 minutes of inactivity, the idle user should be logged off automatically
Our customers noticed that the permitted idle period in Business Central is way too much. They humbly requested for Microsoft to make the change necessary so that after 20 minutes of inactivity the idle user should be logged off automatically and prompted to log in again. This will ensure a higher level of security and will minimize resource consumption while the said users are inactive. -
Option to fix or skip errors directly from the Business Central Cloud instead of repeating the whole migration process.
The cloud migration has failed based on the company. As there is a large number of companies the best way would be to perform a new cloud migration again. -
When running "Send by E-mail" function for several Posted Sales Invoices for a customer the application is sending one e-mail per invoice instead of one e-mail with all the invoices in on PDF File.

Changing of the Excel Current custom formatting for German (Switzerland)
For BC SaaS CH, when using the option Edit in Excel has to choose the format differently in Excel, which does not affect the underlying value.
When you have the column of UTC dates, select all of them, and press ctrl+1.
The format cells panel should appear:
Format Cells:
Category: Type:
... ...
Data 14.03.2012
... ...
And instead of the current custom formatting being applied, we have to go to "Date" and pick another Locale and another date format for German (Switzerland).

Business Central connector for Power Automate as well as Dataverse Virtual Tables are based on standard or custom APIs.
Business Central connector for Power Automate as well as Dataverse Virtual Tables are based on standard or custom APIs.
Fields that are exposed through those APIs are predefined - and there's no way to customize them. If a given field is missing the only workaround is for the partner do define a custom API page that includes all needed fields:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/developer/devenv-develop-custom-api
Currently partners need to create custom API pages ... or use some of the commercial tools to generate API objects.

When selecting field 140 Picture and downloading the Template in Word it is shown only the GuidID, and not the Picture itself
When selecting field 140 Picture and downloading the Template in Word it is shown only the GuidID, and not the Picture itself.
On version 22.1 NL with Cronus Database: -> we are opening Word document -> Edit related entries.
The next step is to expand Number of Selected Fields
From the initial expansion you will see Filed 140 which will disappear on the next opening.
The issue is that when selecting field 140 Picture and downloading the Template in Word it is shown only the GuidID, and not the Picture itself.
We are looking forward to the improvement of this behavior in one of our future releases.

The Search not working in User Settings page
User ID is a flow field. Cross-column search is not supported on flow fields. Currently, we don't have a context that the user is searching specifically in this field to show any meaningful message.
As a workaround can be used: Use the advanced filtering page to filter on the "User ID" column for a value like *searchTerm* (the * allow partial matching of a value, e.g. search for "test" will match even in ATESTB),
, but it will be very helpful if we improve this behavior in one of our future releases.

They are using the transfer order feature in which you move items from one location to another. Within this process they assign lot and serial numbers within the standard item tracking.
It's not the item tracking, it's enabled action messaging that affects the performance.
Our dev colleagues don't recommend using Order Tracking Policy = Tracking & Action Msg. for serial no.-tracked item.
Is it possible this scenario to be implemented in a future release?
