We are a large multinational financial organization and use DEVO as our global solution for audit log storage to meet our compliance obligations.

All production systems globally are obliged to send audit logs to DEVO. This includes Power Platform and Dynamics audit log (system and sometimes entity). As Power Platform audit logs are automatically collected in the M365 Security and Compliance center (production environments only), ingesting logs to DEVO is easy and something we have replicated many times for all M365 services. This leaves us presently with a 30 day window (minimum amount of time to keep logs in the Power Platform) where log files are kept in Power Platform and Devo and is needlessly taking up capacity storage holding duplicated data.

The ask here, is to have more options available to us for audit log retention within environment settings. The minimum amount of time is currently 30 days. Even if we were to use the custom option, 31 days would be the minimum retention time we could set. We believe it would be valuable to have additional "shorter", retention times available for those organization like us who offshoot audit logs to a 3rd party storage solution.

The main benefits of this would be

• Minimum duplication of audit log data
• More efficient use of capacity storage
• Reduced overall cost through maximizing storage capacity use before purchasing additional add-ons.
