I completely agree that being able to use Email Templates with Print Management will be very beneficial to many organisations!
It will also make emails more useful, informative and professional!
This will hopefully be easy to achieve, given the Print Management Framework already exists and the Email Template framework already exists, they just need to be linked.
As others have said, the main problem is that the print management emails only have a generic email body and generic email attachment filename. Please resolve this limitation. Being able to send good emails should be an important feature.
An example of a simple/quick/easy/minimal solution design might be to remove the Email Subject field from the Print Management Email Printer Settings form, and replace it with an Email Template ID field.
This Email Template could then be used inside the Print Management Framework (example code: SrsReportRun.printReportToEmail()) to populate the Email Details (Email Subject, Email Body, Email Attachment Filename, etc).
Please implement this, and lots of the other good Ideas on this Dynamics portal!

I am sure this feature was working in AX2012 as we have used it extensively in previous implementations. It would be great to see it back.
