The query responsible for calculating the summation is only triggered when the user changes the view, and not when simply opening the form, regardless of which view is set as default.
It is also important to note that as per the following MS Learn Documentation (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/get-started/grid-capabilities) there’s no need to save a Personalized view to begin with as once the Sum is triggered via the View column totals and the Sum is populated in the footer; it is expected to always be generated every time the user opens the Invoice journal form or the Product receipt journal form.
