Suggested by Bryn Sieverts – Needs Votes
ATP shows purchase order receipts as available the day of receipt, but for some companies the receipts are usually not ready the day of arrival. It would be great to have ATP take into account the Receipt margin. Currently master planning takes into account receipt margin, but ATP dates do not.
Issue margin is not ideal because it adds a margin to all supply, not only to purchase orders.

Could advantageously be controlled with parameters, so that you can choose which types of supply should use the margin
I can only agree. It is a shame that the idea was submitted in 2017 is currently relatively high voted and not considered for evaluation.
Also some other ideas in different areas surpass 130 votes and have been under review for almost a year.
It is very sad to see, that this is not going forwards at the moment
I would also like to add the following (in my opinion) Bug:
The ATP calculation works if you have planned orders (purchase, transfer, production). In that case the earliest Ship Date resembles the requirement date. But once the order is fixed (purchase, transfer, production) the date is simply wrong.
The Problem ist, that master planning might create actions to change the purchase order because it considers the receipt margin. This is a logical error.
this is really needed
