There is no LP grouping support for the Report as finished process, as we know from purchase product receipt. That means that we need the parameter "License plate grouping" in the Mobile Device menu items for the "Report as finished" work creation prosess. This change will make us able to "bulk" RAF for many pallets. Now we have to RAF one pallet at a time. That is not fast and efficiently enough for our customers. Please apply this for both AX2012 and D365, thank you.

Thank you for your feedback. Currently this is not in our roadmap; however, we are tracking it and if we get more feedback and votes, we may consider it in the future.

  • Yes, good

  • Great idea
  • Hello,

All my production customers need this functionality. Reporting 20 pallets of a bulk production is a pain and we should be able to do a single RAF.

    Thank you for considering.

  • We are currently implementing and have this same issue. We will need to make our own development if this is not added to the roadmap. Disappointing that this functionality is available for Purchase orders but not Production order :(
  • Currently implementing  a full deployment and have this issue. Now considering a mod if this is not added to the road-map. Not logical that this functionality is available for Purchase orders but not for a Production order.

  • Agree that when processing multiple RAF transactions for the same item, there should be a way to do this other than entering the same data multiple times.
  • We are in the process of implementing D365 at our main manufacturing facility after our first go-live at our main distribution center last month, and then we will implement D365 at the rest of our many manufacturing and distribution facilities in the near future. With our manufacturing facilities producing a combined +1,000 pallets per day of finished product, it is not feasible to RAF one pallet at a time using the Mobile App instead of being able to receive multiple pallet quantities and generate and print multiple license plates for those pallets. License plate grouping would fix the issue and should be a standard feature in all of the RAF work creation processes, especially given that license plate grouping is already standard feature available for Purchase and Transfer receiving. The idea of lost functionality compared to our previous warehouse management system that was able to do this, as well as the idea of having to pay our implementation partner to have to develop a customization for this - neither one is good.
  • Yes, LP grouping on report as finished is absolutely essential for any manufacturing business. We're struggling with this as well during our feasibility testing of D365 SCM.
