Currently the direct delivery functionality is blocked on a warehouse that implements the Advanced Warehousing functionality. Please remove this restriction and allow this functionality to work across all warehouses.
Status Details
Thank you for the feedback, however, it's a bit unclear as current functionality does support basic direct delivery scenario.
We will do a more detail analysis and have discussion around this here or in the WMS TMs Yammer group.
One of the thing we can do is to make the setup more efficiently and set it up at the warehouse level.
Next step is to integrate it better with our intercompany trade.
We will update this entry when we have done a bit more analysis.

I support this idea, it does not make sense that we need to switch warehouses to process a direct delivery...
+1 lot of clients doesn't understand why they need to have an "extra" warehouse with Advanced Warehousing disabled to manage Direct Delivery flows...
I support this idea, if customer use Advanced warehouse procedure needs to use also for direct deliveries.
I Support this idea!
if the customer want to enable “Rating and carrier invoice reconciliation” on the direct delivery, will require to have warehouse is WMS enabled to have the load cycle complete.
Having the limitation of the Direct Delivery order doesn't support WMS enabled items/warehouses is a blocker to have this cycle is possible.
