Develop ability for a Customer collaboration portal or workspace similar to the Vendor collaboration that was released. I could not find any mention of a customer portal for Dynamics 365 for Operations to be released.

There are multiple ideas for the customer portal. We just need one - it should be a better customer experience than the enterprise portal.
When considering this, pls also include the option of "Self-service quoting" incl. configuring a Quotation Line using the Constraint based Product Configurator.
Third party ecommerce packages are expensive as well as implementing the Retail server if you have no other need for it. Most of our competitors have a customer self service feature. If we have it for vendors, then certainly we need it for customers.
Is there an update to this? IT says "under review". We have customers that are requesting this functionality. I like how the vendor collaboration works, just need a customer collaboration that does the same thing for the customer. Thanks, John
