    Financial dimensions are not updated automatically on project purchase order if ‘Update order lines’ parameter is set to ‘Always’

    With reference to : LCS Issue 633539 When having the ‘Update order lines parameter’ set to Always update the dimensions, the system is not updating the project purchase order lines with the financial dimension newly added , as opposed to a non-project related purchase order, where it is working as expected and the update occurs. It is expected, that the process would be aligned as such to avoid any human error which may arise if the update may not occur.

    Project related invoices are posted despite closed ledger period for module project

    When a posting restriction is set at Project module level and when we try to post any project transactions like Expense / Hour journal, system will stop from posting as expected. However, if we post pending vendor invoice / Customer FTI using Project, system will not stop from posting. Need to have consistency and it should block from posting the PO / FTI and other documents when a project is used.

    Allowing Advances purchased by multiple customers to apply on one single Project Contract

    Currently, after an advance is invoiced an available, it can only be applied to the invoice sent to whoever purchased the advance. Which means even if we have multiple customers involved in the contract, advances purchased by non-primary customers will not be applied to the invoices.


    We should be allowing this functionality, having multiple customers funding for the same contract happens all the time, this design is putting quite a limit to the app, going against the name "Dynamics".

    Allow Customization and Provide Various Customization Options for Project Plan Task Grid in Dynamics 365 Project Operations

    We would like to propose enhancements to the Project Plan task grid in Dynamics 365 Project Operations to allow for greater customization. Specifically, following features:

    Hide Columns: Provide the ability to hide specific columns in the Project Plan task grid. This would help users focus on the most relevant data and reduce clutter.


    1. Change Default Column Order: Allow users to change the default order of columns in the Project Plan task grid. This would enable users to prioritize the information that is most important to them, improving efficiency and usability.
    2. Remove Unused Columns/Tabs: Offer an option to permanently remove unused columns/tabs from the Project Plan task grid. This would streamline the interface and make it more user-friendly.
    3. Change Column Labels: Enable users to change the labels of columns in the Project Plan task grid. This would allow for better alignment with specific business terminology and processes.
    4. Customize/Configure Sequence of Columns: Allow users to customize and configure the sequence of columns in the Project Plan task grid. This would provide flexibility to arrange the grid in a way that best suits their business needs.


    Business Requirements:

    Improved Usability: Customizing the Project Plan task grid to hide, reorder, remove, and relabel columns would make the interface more intuitive and tailored to individual business needs.

    Enhanced Focus: By hiding irrelevant columns and relabeling them to match business terminology, users can concentrate on the most critical data, leading to better decision-making and productivity.

    Streamlined Interface: Removing unused columns and customizing the sequence would declutter the grid, making it easier to navigate and use.


    Implementing these customization options would significantly enhance the user experience in Dynamics 365 Project Operations, making the Project Plan task grid more flexible and aligned with diverse business requirements. I believe these changes would be highly beneficial for users and improve overall satisfaction with the Dynamics 365 Project Operations module.

    Time Corrections - Develop interface for end user to adjust time entries

    Currently the end user (time sheet creator) has no simple ability to adjust submitted/posted time entries, apart from creating an additional timesheet with a DR/CR entry on time.


    Not all end users will have access to Project Management: Adjust Transactions (due to role security).


    We are seeking a simple interface (which supports intercompany) where an end user can adjust submitted time (on mass) - The interface should create the incremental adjustment crediting the original entry and allocating the time to the new project. All corrections should be subject to workflow approval (as per original timesheet).

    Product Receipt Cancelation for Project Item Requirement, Financially Not updated if feature is enable

    We have the feature in the system to cancel the product receipt of project item req linked but if i enable the feature then i can able to cancel the product receipt but the posting behavior of item req packing will be change and only updated physically not financially but in the case of Time & material project type it is ok I can update the item req by posting the invoice journal but in the case of Fixed price project there is no way to update the packing slip financially.


    The Feature name is they are dependent on each other

    • Enable project purchase order product receipt cancellation with linked item requirements

    Please enable the withholding tax calculations for the invoices generated from the project accounting and management

    Customers want to see withholding tax calculations with the project accounting invoices in the near releases which will make it easier and more automated for their business, as some customers use the project accounting more than any other module.

    Intercompany project - External vendor

    The intercompany project allows the buying entity ( lending entity) to purchase the goods from an external vendor on behalf of the project in the other entity (borrowing entity) and then use the project-intercompany customer invoice to recharge the lending entity.


    This functionality starts from the pending vendor invoice only, which means the business must use the non-PO invoice process if they want to use this function.


    This functionality should start with the purchase requisition and extend to the purchase order and vendor invoice.

    We would like the ability to select more than one project to update status from the All-Projects List/form

Specifically, there is a requirement to select and edit multiple projects simultaneously, such as changing the status of several projects from "created" to "in process" efficiently.
