Currently, the Project ledger posting definitions in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations cannot be updated or maintained using the Data Management Framework (DMF) or the Excel Add-in.
This limitation poses challenges when users need to perform bulk updates or mass maintenance of project posting profiles for example, when changing main accounts, categories, or cost/revenue rules across multiple combinations.
At the moment, all updates must be done manually through the user interface, which is time-consuming, error-prone, and inefficient, especially for organizations managing multiple legal entities or project groups.
