Wish there is a future option to easily potentially identify a new item including item versions prototypes before internal project maybe closed (e.g. research and development, or marketing), not featuring item number or item number prototype, user may not easily future identify grand total invested, research and development unit cost, or eligible advertising, or other, for purpose of future dashboard, graph generations or statistics.
Featuring item, item version and easy identifying an item (finalized) from an item prototype (sampling), user might potentially future be able to easily process inquiries, reports, or graphics. (e.g. research and development investment on a new finished good item, advertising or marketing invested on new item, new versions, new release, prototypes, market sampling, innovation marketing on new item, etc..)
