User Profile

CRM articles can be published by users who do not have the correct privilege (BUG)

When a user who has only the Customer Service Representative ("CSR") security role goes to the view for Unpublished or Unapproved articles, the "Approve" button on the Ribbon is visible, active, and does what it says - it allows them to Approve (=publish) the article, even though they do not h...

Forms for creating new 1:N or N:1 relationships incorrectly show "Custom label" field as required

In CRM 2011, creating a new 1:N or N:1 relationship shows a form where the field "custom label" is highlighted with a red asterisk as a required field, when in fact this is not required, and the form will happily save when this is not populated.

IE9 crashes session if a window is closed before completely rendered (BUG)

When a user clicks on a link to a record from a view or a form and realises they did not want that record to open, they tend to close the form using the window close button at the top right.
If they do this before the form has completely opened and rendered and they are using Internet Exp...

Make email addresses clickable from the grid in both Outlook and IE clients

In IE and Outlook, email addresses in the grid are not clickable and really should be to give the best ease of use experience in both clients.

Emails are clickable from reading pane and (via double click) from forms, and act as a "mailto" link to open a new mail form in the default ema...

Include top-right navigation buttons for next / previous record on read-optimized forms

Read-optimized forms available in UR7 seem to be a great feature which is especially ideal for users working remotely on mobile network connections or in countries with poor infrastructure.

This particularly affects the "Actual" part...

While this prompt is on screen, the IE process consumes huge amounts of processor - often as much as 50% on a multiple core machi...

Copy section formatting for fields from section above when adding new sections to a form

When editing a form, I usually try to make things appear consistent such as having the same number of columns, label position and alignment and field label width.

If I insert a new section it would be much quicker if it would 'inherit' the layout from the section above (within the same ...

Form editor - add filter to fields list for "Searchable" fields only

It is widely held as good practice to mark fields which are not used in CRM for a particular deployment as Searchable = No to improve the end-user experience when using Advanced find (for example).

It would be very useful to system customizers if a filter could be added to the form desi...

setParameter property for sub-grids changed to SetParameter with UR12

With a subgrid on a form, we could previously use document.getElementById("ComponentName").setParameter to inject FetchXML to define the query used by the grid.
This fails post-UR12.
The change of Case to SetParameter seems to fix the problem.
