Form Editor Form Assistant
Would it be possible on the Form Configuration to provide something similar to the Form Assistant for changing properties on Tabs, Sections, Fields, etc? It would be great if this resembled the properties view in Visual Studio (scrolling, no tabs).
View Editor
Can you make the view editor more like the form editor, specifically:
- Resize fields on the view
- Move fields with the right/left arrow
View Editor - Default Field View
Can you make it possible to create a default set of fields, sort order, find columns for an entity and publish that to the views? THis woudl be similar to the way you can define attributes (master) and then change labels on the specific forms (e.g. you could define the default, but make change...
Bulk Changes for Field Properties
It would be great if we could export field definitions and be able to make the following changes in bulk in Excel and then re-import the fields.
- Field Label
- Searchability
- Requirement Level
- Auduting (enable/disable)
- Field Security (enable / disable)
Check box Field Definitions
It woudl be great if it were possible to define the default control for a boolean (e.g. checkbox, radio buttons, drop down) as the Field Attribute and then change this on the forms as necessary (for example, like the ability to change the labels).
Web Resource Icons
It woudl be great if we could change the type of a web resource icon (e.g. from GIF to JPG, etc.) after we uploaded the first item.
Relationships - Auto Mapping
It would be great if after creating a relationship if CRM prompted the developer with a list of source / destination fields that match and / or enabled filtering / drag and drop matching / multiple field selection in the mapping dialog window.
Relationships - Save and New
It would be great if there was a save and new on relationships.
Form Customization Ribbon
It would be great if all of the form customization icons could be displayed on one ribbon. For example, you have to click on the insert ribbon to add a section / tab (which could be drop down items like the report button) and go back to Home to change properties.
Form Customization Solution
It would be great if when editing the form / entity from the form itself if it were possible too select which solution to edit so that custom fields are added with the solution prefix rather than defaulting to _new.
