Charges recorded upon Goods Receipt - Non-stock items
Charges for stock items are recorded upon PO goods receipt (compliant with GAAP). Charges for non-stock items are NOT being recorded until invoicing. Non-stock charges should be posted upon goods receipt. From a GAAP perspective, stock and non-stock charges should be treated the same.
