When applying filters to date fields on pages, date formulas can be used (TODAY, +1D, -2D, ...) Saving the page filters as a view takes into account these date formulas. When opening the view on a later date, the date filters applied are recalculated, since the date formula seems to be stored internally.
We would like to have the same behavior on the job queue report request page options. When scheduling a report to be ran periodically, often the data on the report is to be filtered as well. When using the same dateformula filters on date field of the report dataset, the dates are stored fixed and the formulas are lost / not recalculated when the report is ran on another date.
Similar to the Order Address, allow for multiple remit to addresses on vendors. Invoices could be marked as to which remit address is applicable for each invoice. This should allow for one vendor to have multiple remit address so that payments could be made based on the remit address on the individual invoices.
This is a feature in Dynamics GP and many of the clients moving from GP to Business Central want this type of functionality.
Please Enable Purchase and Sales Unit of Measure fields on Item Card regardless of the User Experience. Customers and partners are requesting these be available in Essentials and Premium.

Category: Financial ManagementThe Edit in excel doesn't work on the 'View - Analysis by Dimension Matrix' page and there is no means of exporting to Excel.
Support has indicated that the ‘Edit in Excel’ option is automatically added to list pages in Business Central. It doesn’t always make sense for it to be there and it doesn’t even always work. There are several pages where it exists and does not work or display the proper data. Since this page is building a report on the fly it’s not something that will translate through to ‘Edit in Excel’ which is using the Dynamics Excel Add-in.
The Edit in Excel should be removed as an option and an Export functionality added so that the results can be exported or printed so that it can be shared with others.
Including Item description from Item Card to Item ledger entries
We have repeated requirements from customers always to include Item Description from Item card into the Item ledger entries. In the NAV/D365BC standard, the Item Description is only included if the description on the document line differs from the description on the card. It would be easier for users for adhoc navigation, tracing, reports, etc.
The personalization and design options do not give access to the top line menu which is the navigation area. I have an extension to add additional menu items but it appears there is no way to remove or change the existing menu items in the navigation section which includes the Actions section.
Given there is currently no way to create profiles to deal with this the only option is to tailor this to user requirements is with an extension and this is limited without the ability to delete or rename existing items. I would like you to add functions for delete and rename or hide to cater for this. If the personalization or designer were change to allow this or the ability to create profiles was added this would not need an extension.
It is not possible at the moment to edit the static text that is used in the email layout. It appears to be hard-coded into the database with no UI available. The power of the layout is in this ability but there is no way to change the text for
This should be settable by customer/vendor as it could be variable by either in just the same way the invoice, quote etc. can be set for each customer/vendor
Our customer would like to have the ability to exclude the Credit Notes during the cutsomer payment proposal process.
They are currently using a payment method of Total and the system includes the Credit note in the calculation of the Customer balance.
If they set the Payment method to Invoice, the system creates one payment per document (invoice and credit notes) and then they can set to delete negative payments.
This does not work for the customer as this includes the Credit note still and this will include all the transactions
They would like to have a feature specific to exluding the credit note in the customer payment proposal process
