Issue Description
Currently, when a production BOM line uses Line type = Pegged supply, the system treats the component as externally supplied rather than produced. As a result, production order estimation does not explode the sub‑formula, and any co‑products or by‑products associated with the pegged (child) production order are not included in the parent order’s cost estimation.
The Product Group has confirmed that this behavior is by design to avoid double‑counting and to keep cost accountability on the producing (child) order in issue number 1081867.
However, this creates functional limitations for customers who rely on estimation visibility for full cost breakdowns when working with pegged supply scenarios.
Proposed Idea:
Introduce an optional system capability (e.g., parameter, configuration flag, or policy) to allow the cost of co‑/by‑products from pegged supply orders to be included during estimation of the parent production order.
The proposed feature should be optional so customers can choose between:
- Current behavior (costing handled only by the child order), or
- Enhanced behavior (costs of pegged sub‑formulas and co‑products included in parent estimation)
