Currently, fixed assets depreciation with the reducing balance method is calculated based on acquisition value (if acquired in the current year) or the net book value at the end of the previous year. If there are changes to the asset's net book value in the current year, the system won't adjust the previous depreciations which is why the yearly depreciation for the asset is incorrect. Depreciation should be possible to calculate based on the net book value on the current year and if there is e.g. acquisition adjustment for the asset, the depreciation should adjust previous depreciations so that the yearly depreciation is correct. This feature is needed especially for tax depreciation in Finland.
