We understand that currently BC don’t have another format for EFT, so we had to create a data definition to meet our request.
But can online documentation be updated to better reflect the availability or lack of rather EFT native files formats for NZ.
The article infers that the steps documented will allow an EFT file to be produced but even the steps do not align with the options available in the NZ localization.
For now, the resultant EFT file produced is not compliant with NZ banking standards. We are using Create EFT Payments file to generate the EFT file. But this does not match NZ specifications.
The Export option requires a Payment Export Format and IBAN number defined on the Bank Account and uses SEPA formats which are not relevant. On the Payment Journal we are not specifying the bank Payment Type to be Electronic Payment or any other option but blank so we can create the file and post.
Hope we can get a better result in the future! Thank you!
