When creating on CPOS a sales order with delivery method pick up, Bing Map shows distances in miles. In most European countries we use SI-system. According to it distances are measured in kilometers instead of miles.
According to Microsoft right now in POS is “not supported” to change from Miles to Km.
It should be possible to change from Miles to Km in Bing Maps. In those countries where km is used, very few can convert miles to km.

Thank you for raising this issue. However, the Bing Maps control is a component that's not owned by thte Commerce team. I haven't tested this, but I believe it displays the right unit of measure in countries that use the metric system, but that it doesn't support the display of miles and kilometers out-of-box. If it can, we would encourage you to customize POS to invoke the Bing Maps control with the parameter that enables that display capability. Thank you.
