We have basic vendor consignment now but we also need customer consignment. Need the ability to designate a warehouse that represents a customer site, do a transfer order to that site, then when the customer sends us a signal that they consumed it, update the inventory as sold and create a sales order invoice. We could show the customer updating the inventory via the new Customer Portal or by sending in a file.

This is such a great suggestion.

Should be part of any ERP as big as D365FO.

Had to customize this in AX2012 for a very nice customer, hopefully, I will not have to do this again when this latter migrates...
