It is very common requirement for sales reps to not have privilege to create new Accounts in Dynamics 365 Sales. This is to ensure data quality across the organization.

However, these same sales reps do need to be able to create addresses for Contacts.

Right now, sales reps who do not have privilege to create account can not create addresses for Contacts.

The ability for sales reps to create Contact addresses, but not accounts, was working previously, but suddenly stopped working in May 2022. We were advised by support engineer at Microsoft that this is now a "product limitation".

We would like to see these permissions restored, to allow a more granular control over what sales reps can and can't do.
