Currently when using closing period adjustments you have to do a transfer for each account and offset account relating to the adjustment you are performing. This can be quite time consuming for a business that does this quite frequently or has a lot of transactions they do adjustments for in a closed period.


This a lot more user friendly if you were able to use the open in excel feature which you use when creating regular general journals, this would allow the user to create all the transfers they wish to carry out in excel and then import them into the closing period adjustments form for that particular closing sheet, rather than having to populate each transfer manually.
