Our current planning engine is deprecated, we are being pushed by Microsoft to move to Planning Optimization.

Our initial testing in Planning Opt. yielded the following results, which are show stoppers for our company to move forward with using Planning Opt.

1.  “Ensure that the planned orders are not created prior to the master planning run date” in the “Calculated delays” tab on the “Master plan” from.
2. “Positive days” in the “Coverage groups” form

Microsoft support confirmed these findings, with the below response:

Yes, you are correct the “Ensure that the planned orders are not created prior to the master planning run date” and “Positive days” parameters are not supported by Planning optimization as outlined in the doc below.

Please add the above features to a future release of Planning Opt.
