Issue - filters added to Sales Orders Composite V3 in data project is not get saved in Dynamics 365 Finance and operations.

 

Repro steps -

Go to data management - Export - Create a new data job

Choose entity Sales Orders Composite V3, select format (xml)

After entity is added to data job, navigate to filters/Add/Choose Sales Order Lines V2 (datasource in composite entity)

Add filter on any field, For e.g.

Sales Order Line V2/Expiration = today

Click Ok.

Open the filter form again.

 

Actual result - filter is not visible, filter doesn't work either. 

Expected result - Filter should be visible as it works for other entities.

 

Additional info - Microsoft product group has triaged this issue but close it as-designed. Due to complex design change, they don’t agree to fix the bug at now. Reference bug no - 445570

 

Workaround (if any) - A short term mitigation or workaround has been provided by product group. After removing the entity SalesOrderHeaderCharge from composite entity Sales orders composite V3, the filter is working as expected.
