Up to AX2012 by right-cklicking on a field representing a referenced table, a new window was opened. To some extend this is possible in D365 for Finance&Operation, Ee this is still possible. However only for the Primary / one table connected to the current form and by using the Icon "open in new window".

The idea: By using standard-browser functionality "open in new window (right-click on the selected field) the selected field should define which form will be opened in a new window. Example: Active form: "Customer Grid view" > right cklick on "currency": 1) The form customer grid view should stay open. 2) A new additional browser-window is opened with the form "Currencies".
