Increasing Serial and Lot No. field lengths

Could you please consider extending the length of serial no. and lot no. fields to 40?

It is indeed 50 now.
Keep in mind that in GS1 standard Lot No. has max of 20.

This has already happened. The length of those two fields is currently set to 50 chars.

We have instances where the length is a problem. Particularly in electronics and defense industry.
