I see several eConnect suggestions that have been declined, even though new functionality in GP has broken eConnect transactions (i.e. Vendor Create/Update due to 1099 enhancements). There seems to be much interest in the community in keeping the integration tools up to date, so I would support moving eConnect to GitHub as many others have suggested on the declined Ideas.

Hi Jeff, thanks for the suggestion. All our Developer tools are in their own GITHUB branch and we cannot easily move those over to the new area we are currently updated. We have noted this at the top of the DOCS section as well. Since we are not making a lot of changes to eConnect at this time that is why you are seeing some of your suggestions in that area declined as we want to inform the users of what is and is not going to be changed in the future of the product for Dynamics GP. There are other options as pre and post scripts that will work with this for eConnect.
