I would like to raise an important issue regarding the use of the D365 App for Outlook (Office Add-in) within our organization. Currently, our security team has implemented restrictions that prevent the use of connected experiences due to business and security concerns. However, we are facing a significant challenge as this policy is directly impacting the functionality of the D365 App for Outlook.


Issue:

When the connected experiences are blocked, the D365 App for Outlook is not visible in Outlook, making it completely unusable. This has created a critical obstacle for approximately 2000 users who rely on the app for their day-to-day operations. As a result, their work efficiency is compromised, and this is having a broader impact on business operations.


Business Impact:

  • Approximately 2000 users are affected, resulting in a significant number of employees unable to fully utilize the app.
