Engineering Change Management - Extending the release product structure functionality

We are currently looking into utilizing the Engineering Change Management module. The release product structure is a great addition. My suggestion is to extend the functionality by adding possibility to set behavior per released product data field deciding if the field should be populated from the template or inherited from the released product in the engineering organization. Ideally the setup adds to the release policies so that it can also be set per legal entity.

Agree, there should be options if a field is used from the template or from the actual released product. In many cases for example the units of measure should come from the released product not the template - and there are quite a few others that apply.

We are also looking for a feature only to release part of a table to a legal entity. E.g. only Released items or vendors to be used in part of legal entities.
