My customer needs duplicate detection on the Address entity - but it's not available to the duplicate detection feature.
The desired change would allow duplicates to be detected on Addresses and other objects not currently supported.

Although this is an old request and stays under review after NINE YEARS, I think it is necessary.
We have an integration with Microsoft Dynamics GP and the ID in GP has to be unique, but it is a free text. Therefore because in Dynamics we have to set a value in here, we need to make sure that the value is unique.
I have to ways to achieve this goal. A good'ld Duplicate Detection Rule, OOTB, future-proof feature, or, I create a plugin that triggers on Address Creation or Address Update. That is not future proof because we know the Address table has changed since Microsoft CRM v3 to v9.1
Please good new Microsoft Dynamics CRM Program Manager (I can see that Raju is now working for Google) can you implement this as Raju mentioned it was going to be consider for future releases of CRM?
