I need to have the asset number (from the new asset management module) available as a derived financial dimension (similar as a fixed asset is currently). Our assets are our main source of income and expense, and we use their numbers for a variety of reporting. With current functionality, every time a new asset is created, someone would have to manually add the number as a financial dimension value. This is not feasible with the number of assets we have and will continue to acquire. Each asset would need to be a FD value (not just the parent) as we report on each asset individually.
