As per the Indian Law, the data for finance with log should kept for 8 years. Enabling the database logs (sysdatabaselog) for the entities, which kept on growing every year, impacts the performance and storage. And the storage is propotional impacting the cost of the PPAC storage.

Hence, the requirement is to keep/archive the database logs outside of the D365FO and whenever required for audit for the particular period which needs to be restored back to D365FO. I heard back, Long-term retention policy which extends to GL, Tax and other financial transaction but it's not for sysdatabaselogs.

The request is to extend to sysdatabaselogs as well.
