Add new SO status and process step "Pack confirmed" to SO.
When you confirm that the pick or warehouse shipment are packed, you can set it to pack confirmed.
This should allow to print all (export) documents such as pacing slip.
You only want to ship the goods when the goods will leave the site, then you post the shipment.
At the moment you can only print the delivery/packing slip when the shipment is posted.
The new status would solve this problem.
