Although there is a "open in excel" function available in inventory journals there are many inventory journals where the EDIT in excel is not available. This means repetitive tasks such as re-classification journals to bulk move stock from one bin to another and between zones/locations can only be done line by line within the journal. Is there a reason for this not being available as it is in other journals, I can't see why it's not just available on all journals and that it opens with the same fields in the same order as in the journal.
