We want to encrypt Pan card/phone number details in CRM application as well as database .

Sharing the example for your reference.

1. We have PAN number field in the CRM form, for which value is visible. So as per the security team, this value needs to encrypted on the database end. Also if possible we have to make sure this field data is visible in encrypted format to CRM user as well. However we should use “i” button(information), by clicking on which the data should be visible to user.

2. Also some users use PAN card number to find the contact associated with the PAN number. We want to know whether is there any way by which we should be able to find the PAN number even if it is in encrypted format in database and CRM.
