Within Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, the Task Recorder functionality allows a user to open a library of task recordings from LCS, to help work through a process.
This functionality is really useful, but where you have a single library of BPM's for an entire enterprise, and where specific users have specific security roles, it is confusing for them to see the whole library, rather than a filtered list for their permissions.
There should be an option to be able to filter the list to specific task guides, based on whether that user has the correct permissions to run that entire task recording.
The result of this would be that the user would only see the task guides that are applicable for them.
This would enhance the user experience with the task guide list, for regular end users.
ie. A warehouse operative would only see warehouse operations BPM's, rather than all the finance ones recorded for the organisation.
