Because the activate the coverage plan by dimension within the storage dimension group, and because the storage dimension group is defined for every single release products, it is not possible to run MRP with different storage dimension group for items between two master plans.

Our idea is to be able to :

• set up a tactic master plan that runs net requirements calculation at site level to manage forecasts, generate purchase orders, plan production orders and manage capacity reservations on a mid-term horizon, etc.
• set up an operational master plan (for short term execution) that runs net requirements calculation at site/warehouse level to manage raw material shortages, generate all transfer orders between warehouses, etc.
