Currently, product bundles are only available for stocked products with an associated Bill of Material (BOM).

This functionality is helpful as it allows organizations to capture revenue in a nuanced manner.

• External - See the product bundle and its rolled up total cost
• Internal - See the product bundle components and how revenue for the bundle is split across its components

This functionality is very powerful from both a sales and finance perspective.

However, software should be modeled as non-stocked products ... and by design the system does not allow the creation of BOMs for non-stocked products ... and therefore the product bundle functionality is unavailable for non-stocked products.

I believe that BOM functionality should exist for non-stocked products.
