Situation

Shopify customer templates are used for mapping Shopify orders to Business Central customers based on country for example 'Ecommerce DK', 'Ecommerce DE' or 'Ecommerce NL'.

Complication

The current mapping does not make it possible to map POS locations to a specific customer for example 'Store Amsterdam' or 'Store Copenhagen'. Thereby postings cannot be separated into ecommerce and POS sales. This results in potential VAT errors and also makes it difficult to report on POS revenue to calculate commission based rent.

Could you make it possible to map POS locations to specific customers?

For a client of ours we added this simple mapping on top of the original mapping, and it worked great.
