Hello, currently in GP it very often difficult to cut and paste information both two and from the program.

CASE 1) COPYING. For example, if you are viewing an open transaction that has been saved, you can't select and copy that transaction number for use in an email or use in another system where that information might be needed. Yes, the field is disabled or read-only but in many other systems like Salespad, you can still select this information and copy it into your clipboard.

CASE 2) PASTING. The other issue is that when trying to paste information into a GP form field, you are often restricted if you have too many trailing blanks on the end. This happens when you have copied the data straight from SQL server from a table GP column that has the exact specification of the form value you are trying to enter. Currently, if you have a CHAR(21) value and you try to paste 21 characters into it, it won't work. This is ridiculous. A solution would be to somehow ignore the trailing blank characters when someone tries to past a value from the clipboard into GP.

Fixing these two issues would help everyone with the usablity of the product. Please don't just respond with a 'it is what it is' answer. These changes are possible.
