While Importing history data of one of my client I was facing this issue.

Date format should be compatible for data import , it should not have fix format MM/DD/YYYY , it is restricting customer to use the format & unable to import the data as it requires data to be formatted with the same format.

Date format should be flexible with configured with organization level and should be allow for Import time
