Request the POS extension framework supports to add language files into the deployment package. The extension framework enables to add new languages in Dynamics 365 FO and Retail HQ, but the new language code can be set to Stores and works, but the POS extension framework does not support to put language files into the deploy package, so POS cannot show the new language set in stores or workers.

Q

If you add custom string in POS you can add the localized string part of the extension package itself. When POS loads the extension it will check the resource file for that locale if found it loads the string specific to that locale else it will load the default string.

There is no UI in HQ to specify the custom POS strings but you can use the POS language text form in HQ to localize the OOB strings.

Q

Hi, maybe it can be helpful for you:
We tested with Slovakian language some days ago:
1) Every POS modification can have labels in any language you want
2) All standard POS texts can be translated in D365 into any language - 'Language texts' form, and run 1090 job to push them to store
